... and they promised to email us to let us know how they went. They made it and left a note for us at reception wishing us luck. We loved their note and we could not have been more excited about the climb. The Swedes then sent an email a couple of days later thanking us for a few tips for KK and giving us some very important tips for the climb. They told us we needed two pairs of gloves each. We had not planned on gloves at all, but we followed their advice, and ...

... island....cool! But no, the boat arrived with the German guys on and I was saved. They had spent the day up in the trees on their island because of the biting sandflies! They said it was impossible to sit on the beach and that had spoiled their day. I was keen to get over to the east ...

Sharif was true to his forfeit and sung hero by himself, followed by Carly Rae Jepson (he lost the second game as well!) while me and Lucy then sung a wonderful cover of one direction ...

I'm starting to get pretty lazy with my mornings now I'm not in hospital anymore. I didn't wake up till half 11 this morning even though I was asleep by 12 last night! By the time I was ready it was pretty much lunchtime so we headed to Yee Fung as we hadn't been there in a while. I tried the chicken claypot, a lovely dish of chicken, rice, egg and mushrooms served a burning hot clay dish. I ...

    Mantanani island

A travel blog entry by cramow on Apr 09, 2014

... ever seen. It really was imaging what a paradise island would be like. After a quick stop for collecting our snorkelling equipment we boarded the boat again and headed offshore for our first dive of the day. It was funny at this point to find out the only people who could swim on the trip were ourselves, all the Chinese tourists couldn't swim! It meant we were able dive in to the water first to start watching the marine life while they had to be ...
