        ... own soap. I just love to receive – and share, these little tid-bits of gratuitous information.

        That particular day we were lucky enough (!) to see a one-off parade of National Costumes. Unfortunately, for us, all the interviews were in Norwegian, but we entertained ourselves by imagining it was some version of Blind Date!

        ... getting our scholarly affairs in order, we've found room for a little fun. During the last week, Griffin and I discovered that ACN has a ping pong table in storage at the school. Since our discovery, not a day has passed that we haven't been down at the school either after class or in the evenings, playing ping pong. (The table isn't permanently set up, so we have to bring it out of the closet and set it up when we want to play.) ...

        It's all downhill from here...

        ... two countries, you would probably disagree, but from an outsider's point of view, they are strikingly similar. (Norwegians and Swedes are rivals much like North Dakotans and Montanians) Rooting for the Swedes in a televised sporting event while in Norway is not a wise move.

        Tomorrow marks the middle day of my 133 day study abroad experience. Be sure to tune in tomorrow, and hopefully I'll have some insightful thoughts on the first 9.5 weeks, and what I expect for the next 9.5.

        ... grocery store, be thankful that you live in a land where produce is both cheap and abundant! But it doesn't only pertain to food. Everything in America is cheap by comparison!
