Well, this will be my last entry. I was hoping to have updated more than i did, but i also thought i'd have far more internet than i did! Oh well, i think you've all got a picture of what it was like over here and i'm sad and ready to come back. here's a few more pics to leave you with and i'll be sure to let everyone see all 1,000 pictures we took! Not much to say here, but what a cool old city. We tasted some amazing wines and picked some to bring back. We wandered around town and drank more wine. Then it was up to the old tower to check out the view and drink my heineken on the street! Day seized. <br>

... we visited two wineries. We were given tours and information on their wines and winemaking, and tasted some of their wines. We also got to visit Chateau Margaux - ok, the bus stopped out the front just for a look, but it was great to get a glimps.

Of course, the sunflowers are dried shadows of their former beautiful selves which is quite sad for me - I was looking forward to seeing their smiling faces follow me throughout the day. Last night we found out that our ferry crossing that was booked for Monday 10th Dec, from the north of Spain (Santander) back to England had been cancelled due to storms. We had two choices, either wait until Thursday to get the next ferry, or drive up to the north of France and get the ferry from there.
