Victoria - 2ième journée. Butchard Garden, Château
... chaque étage. Lorsque la famille l,as quitté, la résidence as ensuite servi au fil des années comme hopital durant la guerre, ensuite comme école avant d'être finalement pris en mains afin de la conserver, la restaurer et en faire une attraction touristique. La restauration est en fait toujours en cours.
Souper à Victoria, encore une foisun excellent restaurant. Promenade à pieds et retour au camping en autobus.
Demain, direction Etats-unis.

... veel fans voor te vinden.. Er werd vanavond een tour langs pubs georganiseerd en er deden ca 3 groepen van ca. 60 man per groep mee. Dat gaf aardig wat levendigheid en tot het grote genoegen van San was er ook iemand die op een doedelzak speelde. Na het eten, hebben we het toetje bij ons in het hotel gegeten. Dit zat bij de upgrade die we hebben gekozen ( die hield oa in dat we op de 16e etage konden ontbijten, de hele dag door fris konden pakken met wat lekkers ...
Getting to Victoria
... told us about some of the places we HAD to go to while we were here. Then we went to the hostel and crashed!
Honestly, the fact that we hadn't even gotten off the ferry before we had a local be nice to us was a sign that not staying in Vancouver was the right thing to do. Already we felt more at ease in Victoria, we felt more at home.

We Brought The Sun Cannuckside
... called Penguins (a rip, since they served Tullys). I kept my Archie Bunker self at bay. I'm getting a little tired of the unabridged ratings online. They're biased and probably written by the very individuals that own the businesses. We drove a short 5 minutes and reached the ferry. I was fascinated at how efficiently the crew packed us in like sardines. Beefy and Homey looked awesome amongst the semis and other transport vehicles. ...
