We biked up to Altea old town to see the church with blue tiled roof. Beautiful from the outside but not so good inside. The surrounding streets were full of artisan shops and a few small cafe's with excellent coffee. Bikes down again and along the front for lunch but found ...

The office was upstairs and when I had negotiated the locked electric gate and the locked front door I finally reached them only to be told I MUST wait outside in my van. Eventually an engineer came and looked at the boiler. He seemed to ...

... omelette and baguette for lunch in the town.

After that we drove back down through the hills and into Benidorm. It was quite busy compared to most other places since its winter and we walked around the shops there. I've heard its mostly a big party town and there were lots of bars and restaurants there but I think it was too early for all that to start. We got some more hot chocolate and sat out on the street for a while and watched people wandering ...
