    ... with Marie-Ange and then I headed out to meet up with my new friends at an Irish pub called Dubliner's. I met some more of Pauline and Kevin's friends and we passed a wonderful evening playing a game called Baccalaureate. This is essentially the same game as Scategories. We played with both English and French words, which was a blast as I taught my new french friends some fun American words/phrases like "funny bone" and "spaghetti squash". :-)

    Willkomen! This post marks the beginning of the German-phase of our trip! These next two days were spent in Baden-Baden at the top of the Black Forest. Baden-Baden was settled by the Romans after they discovered plentiful natural hot springs (baden is German for "bath").
