Up at 5:30 to catch the 6 AM opening of Steel Bridge. Then waited around for the 8:30 opening at the Centerville Br.Made 50 mile run to Coinjock. Ran aground in shallows just north of the marina but we were able to work our way off.

... diving down into the ocean. It was peaceful and we enjoyed our time together. The Resort offered nice beach chairs that we got to sit in and enjoy. We found a favorite place to eat breakfast. It was called First Light Breakfast and Burgers. Great quick food and I got to try Mimosas for the first time.

I have read somewhere that it is possible to float a car in as little as 1 foot of water. Of course it depends on the size of the car and all but that explains why people get swept away ...
