    ... I take some Dramamine. I start to feel better and at the next fuel stop Margaret and I get ginger-ales to drink. We arrive in the outskirts of Memphis (Arkansas side of the river) at 3:30pm after 6 hours of travel and 265 miles (4352 total miles traveled now).

    We finally get some hotdog buns... 5:00pm (CT): Memphis, Tennessee. We have carried a package of bratwurst with us in the fridge ...

    Stormy Nights... 8:15am (CT): Branson, Missouri. During the night a heavy thunderstorm came through and the weather alerts on all of our phones went off for a flooding alert. We all slept in later this morning due to the cloud cover and waking during the night. We're up drinking coffee and Steve heads over to the commons area in the campground to get an order of gravy biscuits for breakfast.

    ... the 7-mile ride to Onyx Cave. The motorcycle ride down the hill to the cave was awesome, really steep, narrow and twisty. I was looking forward to the ride back up. The cave itself was nice. It looked like a little one man operation, with headsets and self-guided stations explaining the cave. Since it was early, Jody and I had the cave to ourselves and thoroughly enjoyed taking our time going through.

Mystic Cavern was the oldest, and was well established since the 1800's, As with most really old show caves, there was considerable damage to the formations from abuse. They once made moonshine in the cave, and there was even a dance floor at one time, and they held dances inside the cave.
