On Wednesday Cari and I took the train to Pompeii while Megan studied and sent off her homework. On Thursday, our driver took us to Roma.
We have walked so much, but it was fun.

... in the middle 1800's and is still being excavated now. The Romans had a very advanced civilization. Running water, sewer systems, paved streets. We walked around for 3 hours.
We finally pulled ourselves away and went back to the train for home. We walked down to town central and had dinner. Then off to bed. Tomorrow, if we can get some cash, we will head for Pompeii.
