We have just come back from a lovely trip up to Lake Konigssee, and a boat trip down the lake to St Bartholoma. The lake is nestled between the mountains, and is 602m above sea level with an average depth of 150m. It is the cleanest lake in Germany, with the water being pure enough to be classified ...

After dinner and the movie we all headed off to ...

We opted to take a different route down the hill which wound up in us getting completely and utterly lost but on the plus side, we found the tourist packed old town centre which we had avoided the day before and it was actually very cool. We took the back home early at around 4.30 (when we eventually made it out of the labyrinth and found a suitable ...

... but it was cold and very rainy so we have decided to lay low and take a nap. Tomorrow we have a big day planned on the Fräulein Maria's Sound of Music Bike Tour. Barry is warming up his vocal chords as I type. (Actually he working on his snoring....) My hope is that it will be a beautiful day tomorrow with some sun and warmer temperatures.

PS-the views from our window are actually a mural painted on a cement wall. ...
