A Week at Erice - International Conference in Neuroeconomics - June 16 to 20

Walked about at dusk. Stunning castle with a backdrop of the towns below and the coast. It was freezing. The rapidly shifting clouds and the dancing blanket of fog made the place all the more magical.

The day starts cold and heats up during the day, but never scorching, and daramatically cools again at night. The vista ...

I had expected a boat with a cabin as well as being able to get out on deck. Instead we got a twin-hull boat with no cabin but a canopy over the deck that the wind rushed through. The cruise lasted 3 hours and by the second hour I was asking myself, "Are we there yet?". I'd had enough after ...

... have a choice of bus... The views walking along were awesome, and heightened the sense of adventure... Till i got to a crossroads and had no idea which way to go! Luckily I flagged down a car and was able to check with them. I wasn't successful finding anybody going in my direction till I got onto the autostrada (motorway), where there was an old guy setting up a stall and called me over to ask where I was going... When he gave me a proposition to join ...
