Last day!
... little while as there was thunder and lighting and sheeting rain again. Managed to return to hotel a little wet and splashed.
Spent the afternoon playing games with D & B and then went to pack. We were going to go for a walk but decided not to chance it.

Bob´s birthday today so went along with card and cake first thing!
Weather cloudy but OK this morning so set off to the west coast up to Aljezur. Mick took us on a tour aroung the tiny cobbled streets but we did`nt stop. Went down ro Carrapetaria and stopped at various scenic stops along the coast in that area. Stunning cliffs again and fantastic ...
A day on the beach!
What a beautiful day. A few clouds but warm and sunny. We went and sat on the beach next to the sand dunes and relaxed and read a little. Had a snack lunch at the beach bar and then back for some more relaxation. We had a short walk along the beach to the river to see the marina from the other side. A great day doing ...
Portugal, last summer holiday!
... as it took us a decent hour just to walk around the whole thing. Lots of old cannons still in their spots from years ago and some blow holes in the middle which was good fun to stand over. After all this we had an amazing Italian dinner and were even given a free glass of port each which was rather tasty – great way to start the trip!

Who'd have thought Portugal???
... amazingly cheap and big and absolutley delicious! There is this spaceman statue in the centre of town, not sure why? Nice mariena, tilled streets, and a little beach with an old fort near us. We then had a dinner booking with the whole group (after a cold shower, its definetly not as hot as seville but its warm). Atlantic salmon is what both Al and i got, yum!
Then we went to a bar to watch the England vs Italy ...
