Breakfast is a little later this morning and we are just finishing up as the ship docks in Kagoshima at 10AM. Our tour doesn’t leave until 1 PM so we walk around the ship and have a leisurely morning.

Another beautiful sunrise. We are somewhere south of Kobe, sailing on the Pacific Ocean. The outside air is much nicer than previous mornings, probably mid 60s—much nicer than in Tokyo. At 7:30 in the morning we grab a table in the Terrace Cafe and settle down to another super caloric buffet breakfast.

... set out about 1620AD by the Lord of the area. They only occupy about 40000 sq ft but have everything, water complete with little islands, the arch bridge, and little miniature moutains, everything so compact. We had a lovely lunch there in the sun. The gardens were heavily damaged after the atomic bomb but have now been completely restored.
