... set out about 1620AD by the Lord of the area. They only occupy about 40000 sq ft but have everything, water complete with little islands, the arch bridge, and little miniature moutains, everything so compact. We had a lovely lunch there in the sun. The gardens were heavily damaged after the atomic bomb but have now been completely restored.

30/03/2012 everybody is busied with passover - only me walking out of time. well, i do a good job, because everybody is happy to meet an israei

... the chef could cook on the hot plate in front of us. He was very skilled and adept at using his cooking implements to slice the meat, so it was all cooked to perfection in front of own eyes, which was really good. While in Japan Matt and I were able to stay with a family in Kobe. With the family we visited a Shinto shrine and ate lots of food. For dinner we had a "make your own Sushi" bar much like we have Taco bars. We also visited a public bath - now that is an experience. We almost were not allowed in because of Matt's tattoos.
