... brought were watching. My wonderful colleague offered to take the boys back to our hotel for the second half. Of course, my 16-yr-old daughter loved it.

We had some very interesting conversations at intermission and after the opera. Although quite suprising to us all, the opera was very well done. I do understand completely the choices made by the director and found the work to be quite interesting. The orchestral score was amazing.

... It was a little bit of a gimikie place, but it was pretty cool though. The train stopped right beside our table and we unloaded our drinks from it. Some examples include priceless artwork, some of the finest weaponry ever made, and even original musical compositions by Beethoven and Mozart. The story of how the family managed to save these treasures was so interesting. We left Lobkowicz Palace for dinner at the Zofin Palace Garden restaurant.
