... but everyone didn't look that bad. Plenty of drunks though!
After the final race was finished and with all my horses coming either 2nd,3rd or worse it was confirmed that my theory of horse choosing wasn't exactly correct.
We had an awesome day full of pims and Champagne.
It was defiantly a experience worth having seeing how the other half live!!!
Came home no richer!!!

... and blinks. Twice. "What?" I handed him the train tickets to Paris. "We're not really staying in London, we're REALLY going to Paris." "REALLY???" "Yes, REALLY." Okay. There was the smile, the happiness, the GLEE I was hoping for back when he found out he was going to London. He was so very excited and happy. He wouldn't stop saying, "I'm going to Paris." He's a total loser for not being just happy about London though, seriously.
London, England, United Kingdom secrexDay 12, TTEE 2008. Paris - London (Home) Early, way too early to be awake. I just wanna sleep some more, and judging by the others, I think that is what they want too. Back on the bus, for the last time, and we are heading back to London and back to reality. I can't believe it, I don't want this tour to end. I hate change... Well here I am back in the UK. I got dropped off at the hotel and Jason, Marella, Ed, Sandy & I ...
London, England, United Kingdom tbling... that they could light cigarettes with, and every pub was as quaint as one in a small town but somehow had edge. I think that perhaps I was just overjoyed with being in London. I do like the place in summer. The rain, so well-acquainted with the streets, gives it a cosy glimmer that makes everything that much more vibey. The buildings have none of that blank, sprawled-out brutality of Las Vegas or Orlando ...

London, United Kingdom planetwalker... one of the spokes gave way within the first 2 minutes, it turned out to be well worth it considering that the first of many downpours hit us right there and then. No, none of us had any idea of betting or odds or "each way" or any of the complex terminology that was thrown at us, but was that going to stop anyone from chancing their luck??? NO!!! Did we win much? NO!!! Was it fun? YES!!! Also, managed to get a glimpse of the Queen accompanied by Prince Philip as they entered ...
Ascot, United Kingdom vermaakjeanne... Street, Bond Street, Covent Garden). For dinner we went to the Ivy, which is a classic London institution. Supposedly it is know for celebrity sightings, but we did not see any. Sunday we went to the Tate Modern museum, which houses one of the largest collections of modern art in an old converted power house. Both Benji and I realized we do not appreciate all "modern art," but we both were fascinated by ...
London, United Kingdom the_mcdonoughs... to start with. I know, I know, go to the UK and do pencil and paper puzzles... geesh. After a very relaxing day, I decided to give the McClymonts some privacy around 4 pm. I had imposed upon their hospitality enough. Armed with a map and some written directions, I set out in the car to find my way home, and with the exception of one small wrong turn that was easily remedied, I made it home to Twyford without a hitch.
