Bye bye Blankie
... was a beautiful day, the sun was shining and there wasn't much wind. So I walked around for about an hour before I found the mall in Basingstoke (surprise! Ashley shopping? Neverrrrrr... haha). It was quite big and was packed full of people trying to do their Christmas shopping. The only store worth mentioning is Primark, the store with the onesies. A long day - walking miles it seemed, kilos of day old chicks. And a bitterly cold half hour watching the professionals ...
The Angel and the Wet rats
... this trip.
So it was back into the thermals, the waterproofs, and back out onto the 303.
The rain gradually became more persistent, ....but by the time we joined the M3, it was revolting. The spray from the heavy Friday traffic added to the heavy rain making conditions very unpleasant indeed.
The lights on the Jag are not exactly the brightest, and being an open topped car makes it less visible which is pretty bad news on a rain soaked motorway, driving between ...
