Rostov-on-Don, South Russia, Russian Federation rdawnI have just made it back to Russia. I had a 3 month break in the middle because my passport was stolen by a Russian police officer. I strongly advise that if you can help if, to never have to travel on an emergency passport - not fun! I love Rostov on Don. I love Russia. It is great to be back. I live in my own apartment this time. Which makes life easier here!

At one point, a "miliciya" jeep drove within fifteen feet of where I visibly walked with my two bags. For some surprising reason, they didn't stop.
