    We arrived in the Dordogne after a very long drive and it was super hot. As soon as we unpacked the car we ran to the pool eager to cool off. That night for dinner we headed into the nearest town - Limeuil - ten minutes away. The town is really old but very cool. It is cobblestoned and dewey, complete with a glass-blowing shop. The pieces looked like frozen jellyfish. We also found a sweet shop in Limeuil a couple of days later ...

    Our friends from the UK arrived last night so we spent the day at another water hole which actually had sand and a "lifeguard"! 39 degrees so way too hot to go anywhere.
