In hindsight, I should have done my homework earlier ...

... it to the end of the line at Market Street ($24) just south of Union Square where we did a little bit of shopping. I had my first ever Sephora visit and I liked it. Evan and Darcy waited outside. A lady kindly spilled a bottle of perfume all over my leg so I smell amazing. We followed that up with a visit to the three story Old Navy shop. It was fantastic and we bought approximately 593 things for $20 (although I may be exaggerating). We then caught the old school electric tram ...

... or a taxi, but of course you always get what you pay for. The BART station was right next to our hotel but we still had to take a short walk to the very smelly elevator (no doubt where some of the many homeless on SF's streets spend their nights) and then we had to wrestle with the intricacies of the ticket machine whilst being harassed by a couple of unsavoury characters. Actually it as one ...
