... were playing bluegrass. One afternoon Mari and Jon’s dogs tried to murder an opossum (the only species of marsupial in North America) that had inadvertently strayed into the backyard. Jon (who is a police officer) had to shoot the poor thing to put it out of its misery. At least we didn’t serve it up for dinner.

The weather here is in the 70's and 80's in the day and 40'sand 50's at night. There is also a lot of wind. We sleep with the windows open and it's very comfortable.
I think we have been in one place to long so I am looking forward to moving on next Tuesday, March 1.
The next exciting adventure here is the launch of the space shuttle. It's still scheduled for Thursday and we are going to see it, something I have always wanted to see.
