          ... I rode her. She behaved ohhh soooo good. Although there was plenty of bad weather around us we somehow managed to stay ahead and away of the bad stuff.

          On arrival at the hotel we checked in and then immediately visited the beach, which is directly across from the hotel, and thereafter we took a plunge in the hotels heated pool.

          Early in the week, we went to Vero Beach Museum of Art to see a Norman Rockwell "Behind the Camera" exhibition;

          and there was also a Stuben Crystal exhibit there.

          Unfortunately, Greg's knee, which has been hurting him for a week already, was so bad that he couldn't walk around ...

          ... was in the street and on a very small median strip and no police traffic control anywhere. On the news the next morning the clean up folks said that the beach was the cleanest it has ever been after a launch. We were positioned 12 miles from the launch pad across the Indian River and had no obstruction in front of us except people. You just have to see a launch to believe it. We paddled dow Turkey Run Creek, which is a medium wide creek with overhanging branches and some trees in the water. I don't have pictures of this trip because I didn't have my camera or phone. Sure enough - soon tornado watches and warnings were popping up on the chart plotter courtesy of our Sirius satellite radio (no we do not listen to Howard Stern).
