... only to be awoken, whilst in the deepest sleep, by Gilly's, what I can only call totally unnatural violent snoring. After shouting a few expletives at him to shut up, which had no effect whatsoever, I decide to get up and go back to the bar.

When I returned at 1am, Les woke up and asked me why I was dressed and was I going out?

The evening concluded with a reception hosted by Lutheran Hour Ministries to welcome everyone! Kurt Buchholz and I both spoke briefly and then continued meeting and talking to our fellow travelers.

There were some curve balls thrown at us today, but were able to persevere which makes me so proud to be traveling with God's people.

Just waiting to go to our late breakfast at 7am. Then we are on our way to Venice for ride on gondola and to see glass blowing at Murano one of the many islands of Venice. ... that everything was fixed and I could come back. So, I did my tour of the salt mines, which to be honest was a let down (no English guide so I had no idea what was going on! But you do get to go down the miners slides which was fun!). When I picked up Lily I went to start her, and those pesky lights weren't working. The guy came out and they damn started up again!
