    ... of a giant pork knuckle and just 400m down Arnulfstrasse we find the sprawling Augustiner beer garden. Hundreds of smiling Germans crowded around benches and tables- EVERYONE has a stein in their hand! Small flat bed trucks drive around the garden to collect the phenomenal amount of used glassware! We make our way to the cafeteria self service food kiosks and pile up a tray with pork knuckle, mushy potatoes and cabbage, and of course Augustiner beer. Em ...

    This past weekend I traveled to Munich, Germany for a couple of days. The main reason for going to this destination was that we were going to get to see the Neuschwanstein Castle! It was a great trip with great food and great friends. I'll start from the beginning.

    ... flight to Mallorca before going to Madrid. It was almost comical to see how excited we were to be back in a country where we could understand the language, even though it was Spanish. We had a two hour layover in Mallorca, where a sudden and severe thunderstorm hit. Somehow our flight was the only flight in the terminal that didn't get delayed. We made it back safe and sound to Madrid around 11:00pm.

    ... of people that were loitering or laying on the footpaths. They were some drunks, some on drugs and many were, as we know in my circle, as “low life’s”. Not a nice way to live in a city with so much.
