... places that will take 4 people, though they are all exceedingly expensive for a last minute booking on a Saturday during Oktoberfest. Eventually, Liam decides to check on his points and he sees that he can book a double room, one king size bed, for 20k points that he has stored up from his time in Bristol. We turn off the autobahn, right outside of Munich, to get gas and get online to see if these places will take us. Head into a hotel bar where ...

We followed that up with a trip back to the hotel for a rest and refurbishment before heading out to dinner. We didn't want to do the tourist thing again so looked for the brauhaus frequented most often by locals and found the Augustiner BrauStuben ( brew room ) not too far from us. Filled with Germans it was exactly the kind of place we were looking for. ...

... bin. Unsere Reiseführer hat sehr entspannt ausgesehen. Aber wir waren sehr müde, als wir die Brücke angekommen sind. Whilst some of our group went inside the castle our guide took us to a place which I hadn't visited last time, the love bench! From the bench you can see a view of the castle and the bridge. He told us about "crazy King Ludwig" and the mystery surrounding his death. For those of you who don't know much about Ludwig, i'll give you ...
