    ... didn't actually look at my face not even one little bit ... he still stamped my passport!
    Silvana, Emily and Anthony were amazed at how indifferent they were and that they couldn't care less.

    Each year Alex and Val are somewhere near us in this hemisphere - was great to catch them for dinner in Amboise

    Day 24 Today we pick up our bikes, have our pre tour briefing and the introductory dinner. I wandered down to breakfast at 9am and found Bill and Joan in the dinning room.     ... It turns out that you can get all the way up to the top of the dome for just 5 EUR, then sneak into the ground floor on your way out. I'm not sure I paid quite as much as I should have but based on the amount of gold in there, I reckon I need the extra 12 EUR more than them.
