... some contact via text message and as he was right in the middle of exams he apologised that he couldn't come out on the weekend as he had study to do. But he did contact me one morning and ask me if i wanted to come for Lunch. So he met me in the Plaza de la Merced and we started to talk (mostly in English). The Costa Del Sol is a long standing favourite of the Brits- from Malaga to Gibraltar, the coast is dotted with resorts- Calle's & Playa's, small towns and large places like Marbella, Malaga, Figuenrola, Torremolinas and others. Calle Mijas was a favourite and Benejafare too. They are all white washed houses, elegant bays and long, long beaches dotted ...

Our first night we headed into town for dinner and a drink, we stumbled upon Los Catos ...

... Calahonda situated between Marbella and Fuengirola, a cheaper area with more than its fair share of apartment blocks and timeshare facilities stretching from the coast into the hills behind. Broken in two by the coastal road, Calahonda has a long, stretch of sandy beach, with pretty villas and beach restaurants and like the rest of the Costa, enjoys a sub-tropical Mediterranean climate.

... I didn’t want to chance getting sick again. Back at the condo John found a game show hosted by John Barrowman, aka Captain Jack Harkness from Doctor Who. Contestants answer general trivia questions for points – pretty typical game show stuff. I liked it because, you know, it was Captain Jack Harkness! The hotel recommended La Farola in Fuengirola for dinner. Delicious typical Spanish food. Why am I so ...
