Today was our first day in Florida before the cruise. We stayed at the Sky Resort in Ft. Lauderdale. Went to the beach in the morning and then had some amazing Cuban food at Mario's Catalina. Thereafter we drove to pick up Aime ja Aino and drive to Boca Raton for the meeskoor concert. The concert was amazing and the whole church was ...

... at them you think they are paintings and it isn't until you look closely that you realise they are mosaics. Next on the agenda was lunch, we were all served a glass of champagne, a glass of red wine and a shot of vodka plus a four course lunch! In the afternoon we visited two more churches that are now museums, spectacular in there own way before heading back for a quick change for our evening at Catherine's Palace. Will do a separate blog for ...

We were able to go right on the ship, and they were amazed. We wandered ...

... We saw several cruise ships headed south and many cargo and oil ships. We paralleled the coast of Cuba most of the daylight hours.

Annie kept busy with a wine tasting and a class on making animals out of towels. I watched a movie I’ve had on my iPad for months and never got to. Like I said, it was a quiet day.

We enjoyed a fantastic final dinner with Roger and Marilyn at the Pinnacle Grill. Too much food, but it was a perfect setting to end our cruise.

... There, the Captain and all the other big high mucky mucks had the opportunity to meet us. To be honest, they didn't seem too thrilled with that opportunity. Can't understand why. Oh, yes, Cocktail Party is ship-speak for 'cheap champagne', but to be fair, I'm a bit of a slut - I'll drink anything without complaining much, although a nice martini would have been ...
