Two words. China Southern. What a dodgy outfit they were. After waiting in the spectacular Changi Airport we flew the 4 hours or so to Guangzhou. The flight was ok and I only sent up a few silent prayers for our safety.

However Guangzhou airport. OMG. We walked to our waiting area down in the bowels of the terminal. Industrial hospital strength puke green lino and low ceilings. A mass of people taking up every available seat outside our departure gate.
