Preparation
... and I hope to be underway at about 7. Weather and traffic permitting I'll be on the ferry from Calais to Dover at 1.30pm, to arrive at Eastleigh, Southampton late in the afternoon.
I'll be staying with a host family, because I see this stay in England as a good opportunity to brush up on my speaking skills, to improve my accent and to enjoy a bit of British family life.

Part 3: Africa
So by this time I'll be in Morocco, where the weather is hopefully a lot better than back home, and this is really where the plans end. I will probably go to Mauritania, and maybe to Senegal and Mali. But that really depends on how much time I have, and if I'm willing to drive that much further.

Last night in the "Homeland"!
Again we decided to avoid the big cities and stay in a regional town. Pulling in we had no idea where we would be sleeping, but the centre is small and always has a hotel sign.
We have a restful afternoon wandering the streets, seeing the odd sight and of course "window shopping".
Dinner being our final German meal constisted of schnitzel and cheap drinks!!!!

It Begins
Tomorrow at 7 in the morning Ben and Sam will leave their beloved hometown Enschede. They will embark on an epic journey throughout all kinds of countries, over high mountains and through deep valleys. With the ultimate goal to see Greece in all it's glory and to go back to the Netherlands via Zürich to meet a dear friend; whom we lost through marriage (to a really nice Swiss girl ;)).

Day 1 and we are off!
... leaving Holland and then decided to chuck it down in Germany! and as anyone who has driven on the German motorways knows, that the German drivers can be a tad aggressive, especially white merc van man!... oh well smile and nod..
Decided to look for some where to camp around 5pm and as luck would have it, when I stopped for fuel and asked the cashier if there were any camp sites near, he said there was one only 1500 metres ...
