... river at Parker! And see trees! The colour of the Colorado was beautiful and made us want to paddle. On either side we were surrounded by rough rocky terrain which looked as if it was oozing metals of some kind, of a rusty red.
The 25 mph speed limit as you go through Searchlight seems ridiculous to me.
All there is are loads of huge signs, a bar or two and a massive casino.
Is it to slow you down and entice you in? Or to stop you from running over ...
Next we wandered over to the Ventian Hotel. An imitation of Venice. This was completely different to the rest of the hotels with italian architecture and canals running through the shopping center. They also had Gondolas you could hire that ran through the water way. Both hotels were very nice!! With them complete we had almost seen well the hotels on the strip.
We headed back to the hotel for a rest ...
... because we saw all the employee parking then ended up on the other side of Treasure Island. Took a bit of stop lights, and a U turn, but found the parking garage.
I also realized at check-in that my recent vacations have been pretty mellow because the amount of "hustle and bustle" was stressing me out. So many people. I also realized that my concerns about bringing a dress that may have had my arms exposed too much was a naive concern. There were ...
