... I slept in until 11:45..... haha... oops.... Stefania woke me up, and we walked to the grandparents house. We ate lunch there, and it was awesome handmade pizza. Figaro's or Home Place has nothing on an italian pizza. I met two of her cousins also, they seemed nice. I hung out at the house after that, and at 6 my host dad drove me to my "tutor" to have dinner. We drove on his motorcycle... which was terrifying... but the dinner was delicious ...

The other night we went for pizza and Tim ordered what he thought was salami, but turned out to be a salmon pizza ;0) A few more things are the caves that we toured around Porlezza, and then zip line experience yesterday! Next time, I will be sure to book a room in town and not ...

Steve and I got up early again and our morning walk which defaulted to excellent training for The Camino. We ended up steeply climbing the hills situated behind us, up to the parish church called Sacro Monte di Ossuccio, elevating 250 mtrs in approx 2 kms. I was absolutely buggered when I reached the top and wished I had taken my walking sticks to assist with the climb. (Suck it up princess and get used to it, there's more of that to come!!) Mid morning we headed off in the car ...

Milan, the city of the arrogant, pretentious tossa

... has ripped out some sections to put in two lifts to be able to sell tickets for elevator rides to the rooftop (this was included with our tour). Then after you have finished the roof top tour you can go down stairs and walk the cathedral, where of course it is isn't appropriate to take photos - unless of course you pay the couple of euro for the official wrist band that makes it ok. So as you walk around the cathedral there are ...
