We took several photos of the area, and our walk to the Metro train station - just in case we got lost and needed to work out how to to get back. WE still had no map at this stage and that made decision making a bit hard. The weather is distinctly cooler here so I was glad I had taken my jumper to dinner. We ate outside on the terrace overlooking the lake. Unfortunately the clouds had rolled in so there was no dinner under the stars for us tonight. Gelati of the day - ...

... villages perched precariously on the sides of steep valleys, as we climb higher and higher into the alpine region grassland gives way to heavily timbered forests. With such a large group of bikes there are frequent stops to gather the flock as many want to blaze trails to destinations unknown and as expected some do and they find us later in the day. Greg and all the sat nav's appear to be working overtime to keep us to the scheduled path. We start to climb ...
