      ... the boat. Cindy felt so good to be comfortable in the water again! On the short way back to Crusoe’s the driver was explaining the strong current and told us it is cyclone season. We didn’t know that when we booked this part of our trip! (Maybe that was why we got a good deal…) He assured us that there will not be any cyclones between now and Thursday when we leave. Whew!

      ... There was no "shower" .. There was a cubicle, there was a drain and a shower head but no water so yeh our first impression of fiji was not good! Around 7, we joined in the local kava ceremony where we sat in a circle, drank what looked like dirty water and sang along with a guy playing guitar.       ... was really moving and so sad to see these happy, welcoming people have to go through something so upsetting. We were eating breakfast at the time and you just wanted to go and comfort the staff.
