... for our last night in Fiji. The next morning we checked out and hung out with Dave and Elise a couple from the tour. They were flying out an hour ahead of us. We had lunch together then shared a taxi to the airport. Our plane was an hour late taking of but other than that everything went as it should. All in all our trip to Fiji was short and sweet. Along with the resorty holiday aspect we also got a glimpse of how the "real", outside the tourist industry Fiji is.

The restaurant/reception has a balcony with a beautiful view of the grounds and the ocean. It is so cool to eat dinner on the balcony and watch the sunset into the Pacific behind the palm trees

The tide by this point was on our side so helped by pushing us further and further to safety, with both our hearts still in our mouths! We have never been so relieved to get out of water and onto the sand. ...

... and I were out in the 'couples' area. Wonderful. Although the silver lining was that this gave us prime viewing of the playground of backpackers forming new friendships and fights breaking out.

EAT: Choice would be a fine thing. Small island equals pick the buffet meals at your accommodation or find a wild crab and get cooking.
