Cyprus Week No.3 - Crossing the Boarder

A travel blog entry by etravels on Oct 18, 2015

... feel like royalty, amazing food and service! We carried on with a couple of drinks at The Wooden Crest after dinner to farewell Dave. This week i'd heard about a great concept called Geocaching - a community of travellers whom leave containers 'caches' in locations around the world and provide directions, hints and clues on how and where to find them. Each cache contains a piece of paper which can be signed once you've located it. It's exciting and you feel a part of an elite ...

... it is something urgent for work only if I have to and I just post a few lines on Facebook, roughly to let followers know where I am.

I prefer to write about everything in detail only after I return home because by doing this, I get the full pleasure of living each moment of my trip a second time.

The idea is to LIVE and ENJOY every second, keeping myself away from computers and ...

          Easter at the village

A few days off from the walking training as we went up to the village (Orounta) to spend Easter with our Cyprus family, a bit of a tradition now! Church at midnight to celebrate the rising of Christ with the candles and bonfire, traditional lamb soup with citrus to mark the end of fasting, a walk round the beautiful village, the souvla and zivania for late lunch. A lovely weekend with our synbetharos ...
