Learnt that the egg (like easter egg) is a symbol of recreation which I never knew before. Didn't really take in much other historical information as it was on a higher scale than I could understand but I enjoyed walking around and taking a look myself.

It was raining, so we all got soaked, but it provided a beautiful fog around the monastery that just provided such a religious chill. I loved it. Religious sites are always so fascinating to me and it's so cool to see religious locations other than the traditional churches.
