... and oldest sailing ships at sea. "The old lady" celebrated her 80th birthday earlier this year but is still in good shape. She is really beautiful.
The passengers are from various countries, mostly Germany, England, Sweden and 3 from Switzerland. The avarage age is about 60+.

... felt very welcome and at home.

Then we went to our cabin. It was bigger than expected, especially the bathroom. The cabin has no key which means you canīt lock it!! Itīs strange for us, but apparently thatīs how it is on this ship.

It was time to inspect the rest of the ship so we took a little tour around. There is so much to discover and we are lucky to have one week in front of us to do so.

The buffet is rich with Cypriot dishes, and I get acquainted with some ladies who are sitting beside me. The group of people I am sitting with doesn't seem anxious to hear the results of the contests, while I see more excitement on one or two tables just behind.



The band is playing and singing Greek songs, but I love hearing some Cypriot Traditional songs as well. ...

... Ritsa not only offers me water but a home made dessert. The aubergine dessert which you see in the photos is really so tasty and it is one of my favourite desserts!

I am more than half an hour with Mrs. Ritsa, and we are talking about everything, when my mobile rings.

It is Athina, the owner of the complex and the wife of the man in charge of the community. We are supposed to meet and show me around sometime this morning, so she asks me where exactly I am. ...
