Lovely drive with Geoff and Amanda to Lefkosia (Nikosia) where we crossed the Turkish border. We did some shopping and had a drink of fresh lemonade at one of the cafes in the Suk.
We then drove to the Mall for some lunch before heading to Lefkara, a small village in the mountains famous for their lace and silver.
We got home after six, got changed and went to dinner in the town of Lemesol at TGIF.

... washing issues because you could get blasted with freezing water if you got it wrong; LEDs, buttons, taps, levers, pull-out taps, push-in taps, multiple shower heads with multiple sprays, variable force fields, pre-sets, side sprays ...the list is endless and a new configuration had to be learnt every day. It really is quite and ordeal and it usually takes us a little over 2 hours to enjoy this
feast, and we always have plenty of leftovers for the next couple of days!

The fact that the meeting point is at the Hilton makes me happy as I don’t have to get downtown or walk outside under the burning sun. When the meeting is over, I have all the time to myself to use it as I wish. And thank God! There is so much to do out here!
