... so we went back there and did- delicious idea! She held our hands and kissed our cheeks saying prayers in Hungarian to us, Chris nearly teared up! We finally made it out even though we wished we had an extra day there. We went into town and saw the castle and walked the cobblestone streets. We even saw that they were working on excavating parts of the town and the area around the castle- it is still a work in progress. The town had a ton of charm and it's truly an unknown ...

... Only one person on an element, no more than three people on a platform at any one time. After a few warm up challenges, the course divides with the kids course staying low, and the adult course climbing up higher into the trees. Day 2. Everyone slept better the second night, perhaps we are starting to get used to the city sounds. Forecast has improved from 100% chance of rain to less than 10%. Hopefully we will get lucky and have some nice weather, since today the plan is to explore castles. This time we head northeast out of Miskolc and after about an hour of driving we can see a castle on an approaching hilltop. It was more intact than many of the castles we have seen, ...

Hungarians seem willing to put anything on a pizza, and in this case they seemed to have done it - frankfurters, sausage, ham, other meats, eggs, cheese, and what looked like a package of mixed frozen veggies. It was, however, excellent, especially given how hungry we were.

We crashed and slept fitfully - we have gotten used to night sounds ...

... love and sacrifices were made to her here. Farmers say there was a famously beautiful woman who used to sell wine in one of the cellars. Of course we made several jokes that I was the beautiful woman!! Unlike the wine regions in Australia, it is extremely easy to get from cellar to cellar here. No need to do a bus tour or have a car - you just walk as they are right next to each other! The over 150 cellars are carved into several hundred metre thick tufa in the hills of the valley, ...
