... enough it feels like visiting family.

The work on the boat is going well but I know they are keen to get her launched again and get out of the shipyard. I love the buzz of the shipyard, watching the boats being hauled out, worked on and put in again, it's a real hive of activity and the staff that work here are really nice and hard workers. We head into Satun for lunch at 'On's Place' which does great food, ...

... a minibus to take us to 'Hat Yai'. We've had some cramped minibuses during our travels around SEA, but this one was possibly the worst. We were literally hemmed in and up to our necks with rucksacks for 6 hours! In Hat Yai, the fourth largest city in Thailand, we had just over an hour to have a look around and have some lunch before our next bus. ... dive with the exception of when a fish with a fishing line stuck in it swam past and Matt rather impressively grabbed hold of the line and attempted to wrestle it out of the fish but to no avail though. At the end of the dive was when it got interesting as we surfaced the weather had taken a turn for the worst, the sky was black, the waves was crashing like mad and a storm was lingering. We boarded the boat and had another hour journey on the worlds ...

... asking us where we were going, no walking for us today! Thank goodness as the drive was nearly 30 minutes long. Having checked in to Zacrys Guesthouse, which my friends Pheebs and Vick recommended to us, we headed down the beach for a well deserved afternoon of doing absolutely nothing! Yay! Our second day on Langkawi island was probably one of our best days so far :) we rented a scooter and rode round the island all day. We went up a cable car to get a 360 ...
