As of yesterday morning I was still saying that we were going to Portugal, then The Algarve, then Albufeira. Now I can say we are at Olhos d'Agua - means Water Eyes. The apartment is very pleasant indeed - we are in a two bedroom one, although we booked a one bed, and the sea view is just something else. And the sky is blue and the sun is warm! We are lucky. ... and woke up Saturday morning, grabbed a cup of coffee and enjoyed a pancake breakfast provided by the hostel! After catching up with our families, we decided to go on a bit of an adventure! We left our hostel, and walked towards the Old Town of Lagos. We eventually hit the waterfront and then trekked along the coast through three of the beaches. We got picked up from the train station by the hostel staff which was super nice, and got a tour of the town. The sun was shining and ...

I heard that last night the Mens hockey barely beat Latvia, and the USA handily beat the Czechs. Tonight we are going to the bar to watch the Womens final: Canada vs USA. Anyway, as I wait for the bakery to open their doors, we will soon have a continental brekkie ...

... all for 6 euros 50 per person! The shark was a tender white meat and lovely. After stocking up on some staples (beer, wine, snacks) we played tennis. Now some down time: reading shower etc Happy hour a bit later then a good walk to the Clay Oven, for East Indian fare. This will likely be my last blog for our Portugal holiday. This is what I want for my last week: more of the same! I promise to do another blog if I have anything new to report. See you all in Canada soon! ...
