Today we caught the Cable Car to Fisherman's Wharf. It was quite different to how we remembered it, far more commercialised now than before. Still we enjoyed walking around and came across Boudin Cafe where they serve the most delicious clam chowder in big sour dough bread bowls. ... bikes. Ok, so it ended up being two shopping bikes with makeshift basket bag on the front! So the men ending up with two Ladies bikes!
And off we went... It was a beautiful sunny day and we soon hit the coastal bike path giving us beautiful views of the bay, the bridge, and Sausalito in the distance.
It's only an 8 mile ride which should only take an hour and a half, but ...
... we went to see a show in the theatre: Comedy with music. It pleasantly and surprisingly very good and funny!! I tried the drink of the day, a blue forgettable thing which just tasted like rhum. I took a long time to drink it. But I'm glad I tried it. Then we went to the under the stars party that they moved inside because it's kind of cold out. The band, I'm afraid to say, was pretty bad. They probably would have done everyone a favour to just hook up someone's iphone playlist. ...
... to it's clever name. We came upon the Irish store and found out about a great Irish Pub called the Irish Bank. It was fun to climb up the musical stairs. Each step you take plays a note, really cool.

... New York, New York, New York" The 6 hour flight was uneventful - which is always a good thing in aircraft. The food and all in flight entertainment was charged for, including the flight map. We got into San Francisco at 4pm SF time, so went from a 17 hour to 20 hour time difference from NZ. SF was brilliantly fine and mild and the forecast for the rest of our time here - three nights - is for fine weather with temperatures in the mid twenties and beyond. We ...
