Instead, the ferry dropped its anchor and a tender came up beside the boat and we carefully got aboard. After a short ride, we were close to shore, but the tender couldn't come all the way in, so we had to hop off the boat, and wade through the water to the beach! We checked out that scene for awhile, then turned in for the night.

The next day was pretty nice and relaxing, did some beachside ...

Getting off the train in Bangkok, however exhausted I was from the overnight haul, felt wonderful. Pradeep was in India, but he was kind enough to let me stay at his place while he was gone. I got used to the bustling city again for a few days and learned that my good friend from Holland America cruise ships was also in Bangkok. It had been 2 years since I had seen her and we were able to meet up together in Bangkok. One day we decided to try the VIP movie ...
