We arrived in Krabi and things went far too swimmingly - a nice little Thai woman made us a packed lunch of a cheese sandwich, banana and water for the bus for 1! Last day in Thailand

Here we go - my last day in Thailand! Up early, of course, and I had to pack and check out before breakfast.

They were a bit disorganized but eventually everything go sorted out and I climbed on the bus for the last time.

On the way to the plant, I kept looking for the fields where I had seen the elephants last night. Eventually I was rewarded and there they were again. Just grazing in the fields were the two elephants, so I was very happy!

... to Ban Phe and I stand there feeling confused while Phidel gets a quote from a taxi driver to go to Rayong bus station, where we can then get a bus to Trat.
The driver quotes us hundreds of Baht and luckily Phidel is sharp enough to spot a bus filled with locals and we jump on. It is not so much a bus as a cargo truck with benches on but we are so glad to get the cheap fare and quick escape.
