... After Jasper we drove to Banff, still in the Rockies. We had many stops on the way, and the scenery was amazing the whole way. We went to Athabasca Falls and then Athabasca Glacier. The glacier is as thick in some points as the Eiffel Tower is tall. A big bus/truck combo vehicle (worth more than $1 million) with massive tyres takes you onto the glacier, where you get off and walk around on the ice. Nice meal in the Long John's pub - food's definitely good in this village. Then off to the Saloon for some live entertainment. They had a couple guys on stage with acoustic guitars singing covers but had a cool vibe. 15 Jack and coke's later and a couple local shots and it might not be an early start tomorrow either.

Also macht's guat zuhause, geniesst den 1.August, wir machens' hier auch so mit BBQ, nur sind bei uns uns die Steaks etwas grösser, Maccaroni und Cheese, haben da leider auf dem Teller keinen Platz ...
