    ... clear night or maybe just because we were exhausted but we were definitely happy to arrive at the apartment! Today we actually saw a bit more of the village once we finally woke up at 1200. Silver Star village is a myriad of colours, with a western looking facade that reminds me of Movie World in Queensland. It's small, more of a toy town than a proper village.     ... students would receive some sort of financial aid. They only accept 7% of their applicants! Apparently some workers commute to New York from Connecticut, too. Then we drove to Providence in Rhode Island, where we had some free time in a shopping centre to get lunch and buy anything we needed.     Nadine went jogging in the morning and was rewarded with beautiful views of Lake Kalamalka, locally known as Kal Lake. Silvio and Wayne drove to Vernon to bring the camper in for some more repairs – to have the auxiliary battery replaced with two new ones, the battery switch repaired and find out what was wrong with the fan/air conditioner (needs 30 Amp hookup or else it won't work/blows a fuse).
