Great location

Older hotel, but nice. Right on a waterway with great views of the boats. Take a short walk and you see the windmills from various angels between the homes.

... on gradually moving away from the industrial area into green countryside with loads of wild flowers. Seeing a sign to a campsite 10km of our route, we headed for it as they were few and far between. The site is big but not too commercial and it is beside the river Maas near Dordrecht. We purchased food for dinner at a nearby village and it was far better than any restaurant ...

Today my dad is arriving! We are so excited to see him. He traveled all night from Winnipeg and Minneapolis. My aunt, uncle and cousins will go to the airport too, to see him!

The Amsterdam airport is very big, there is lots to see and do. Look at me in the engine! And on the landing gear! There was also a walk-through Christmas tree.

After the final awards ceremony prize we all gathered at the fan zone and then off to a Kiwi rowers and supporters function at a private room above the coffee shop at the head of the lake. It was a really nice function generously put on by the owners of Bank link, one of the main sponsors of NZ rowing.
