    ... Enschede town centre; a very busy and pleasant place; even the Navigator managed to buy 2 bikinis! Even managed to persuade her to get into the heated pool on the site. However, it wasn't heated enough for liking so the experience was short lived...hey ho!

    An evening cycle and then packed, ready for the off to meet Adam and Josie near Brugge tomorrow.

    ... a lorry was sideways across 3 lanes with the cab facing backwards and a few cars looking the worse for wear. Obviously not a good day for driving in Germany today. After lunch I carried on driving and there were occasional downpours which didn't help as I got more tired and then when we came to a section of roadworks I got stuck in the wrong lane and had to take the exit and was unable to rejoin the motorway. Stevo was obviously unaware of the road closure and kept taking ...

    ... do so. This is a far cry from the old times where one just sort of knew it was time to tie the knot. Both parties sort of knew, one was brave enough to sprout the topic and the other nodded in agreement. The happy couple paid their own wedding, they both went to choose rings to their liking and picked a date in the near future.     ... which was incredibly emotional yet very educational. To hear about a place where 43,000 people were murdered is something but to stand on the grounds where they had their rights taken from them and were murdered against their own will is something else. Definitely an experience. Munich is also famous for its beer. Marco and I drank a lot of it - we payed five euro for one and a half litres. We can only dream of such prices in Melbourne!
