... that! Next morning we see the public moorings about 100 yards downstream and move there before anybody spots that we're trespassing. Lunch out in Maastricht today, sitting outside under heaters - great 3 course set lunch. Weather freezing and wet. We've decided to move on in the morning so that there's no chance of cruising in the dark ...

A day to view the historic town of Monschau(Henry)

Ignoring the typical grey sky of a North German autumn we headed out to the spectacular town of Monschau which was established about 1000 years ago. On the way we passed through Holland and Belgium to reach this small German town, an experience that is incomprehensible to an Australian mindset.
