Our 4 hour mini bus journey to Hoi An was very picturesque. We traveled through mountainous roads which looked out over the Vietnam coast. We were able to spend some time at the Hai van pass to take some beautiful photos of the surrounding area, including the railway that winds it's way up the mountain. i think it still surprises us a little that wherever there is a chance of tourists stopping there will be people desperately trying to sell them something. We stayed for an hour or so till midnight, then Ben decided to go back because he wasn't feeling too good, and I decided to join him; I felt okay but I'd more or less completely lost my voice through shouting over music for the last three hours. I wandered back through the streets and was soon in bed, though first had to leap over a sleeping security guard who had set up a bed complete with mosquito net in the doorway of the hotel.<br>
