In usual efficient German fashion we were up at the crack of dawn...11:30 am (hey its 3:30 am Canadian time). We purchased our 48 hour metro tickets and headed downtown for our 2:00 pm walking tour first grabbing a quick and delish bite to eat first (prosciutto and blue cheese and salami and camembert cheese sandwiches). As Rickie and Ronny had a wedding today we had the day to ourselves and so decided to check out the palace at the end of the road.

We had spent an afternoon on the Monday walking around the gardens of the Charlotteburg palace but today we decided to do the inside of the palace.
