Thur. July 9. Day 35 Cool, windy 19C We met our English guide at the Zoo Garten station for a 4 hour walking tour of historical Berlin. We took the train to Museum Island in the Spree river to start the tour. Known as Brandenburg on der Havel (Havel being the river Havel), I could see why both my Mother and Uncle had such a love for the water and country.
