Tuesday 30th September Kev's birthday so he is in command today. It was grey and drizzly so decided to postpone the river cruise till tomorrow and hope for a better day. Caught the metro north and walked to museum Island. Visited the Pergamon Museum where the classical antiquities collection is. Enjoyed breakfast with Dave. Compared stories from yesterday's activities. Plotted out the day. Cleaned up, mapped my route & off I go. Visited Prenzlauer Berg - a neighborhood in northeast Berlin. It's quiet here. It's described as a working class district with refurbished buildings, cobblestone streets with leafy, laid-back squares. I couldn't agree more & soak up the less-touristy neighborhood. Shopping is great. Already found some gems & now sipping a Pelligrino, ...
