...nog precies 1 week...
Hallo allemaal,
het is nu zaterdag middag, 3 november, en dat betekent dat precies over een week m'n vliegtuig vertrekt naar Indonesië. Aangekomen in Jakarta heb ik dan precies een maand de tijd om te proberen mijn terugvlucht te halen die 1200 km verderop op Bali vertrekt.

Spring Tide's spring clean!

We have decided we liked to the new wall so before breakfast Isi started to do the rest of the saloon. This took up most of the day as there were lots of fiddly bits. We also did some washing and discovered where the machine was leaking. It was the fabric conditioner drawer was gunged ...
Amsterdam, more than just the rumors
... out a much more lively and less red light filled side of the areas night life. We managed to run into an awsome street band playing american hits, that is until they were interupted by another street merchant trying to show off his rat collection. Caroline might have freaked out a little.... but it was overall a very chill and relaxing evening.
The next morning we woke up to grab the morning train out and off to Koblenz!

Final Morning and Final Thoughts
... fast-food restaurants spoil the beautiful architecture, and the city is clearly geared up more towards a certain kind of clientele.
On a positive note, we received excellent customer service pretty much everywhere we went, and everyone was extremely friendly and spoke perfect English – thank you to the lady who tried to assist us when we were wrestling with the map! We obviously looked lost! ...
The Rhine River cruise begins
... I went up to the top deck to watch the whole process and take photos. The captain had a panel of controls on the side of the ship so he was able to monitor the space between us and the side of the lock. We went under a huge "gate" that was suspended above us and which came down behind us to seal off the water in the lock.
