... Mid August (well at least that's what I think the sign said!) No problem, I had found somewhere else, (Inventive Repair - http://www.inventiverepair.nl/nl/home.h tml) but that was 40mins back towards Amsterdam. Not a problem of they can help, after all I've not got all the time in the world. 2 hrs later and 120euros lighter they had fixed the bed by putting in a stronger bracket, clamped the broken window shut and sent me off to the nearest garage - Hylkema Peugeot - ...
... France. After an hour or so we broke up the party and went back to the B&B to get cleaned up for dinner. We then picked up Tom and met Juno at a very nice restaurant situated next to a canal. As the ships cruised up and down the canal we learned about all the happenings in each of our subsequent travels and managed to eat several steaks, salads, desserts and of course, a few more beers.
The night ended fairly early and I felt like we'd fully enjoyed this day once again. ...

and later that night, well 3am, it certainly was, dark & stormy I mean. We had the loudest
thunderstorm I've ever heard, with forked lightening & torrential rain. The earth moved! We stayed dry. Our modifications have worked!
Saturday 28th June
Woke up to a soggy, but dry, morning. Originally heading for Ghent in Belgium, but later ...
... part, and I joined them on their last day for a 10k walk. Very 'gezellig' and great to spend some time with Dutch kids. Regina is the daughter of John's cousin Erwin, and his wife Mirjam, who we stayed with.
It was fantastic to see the town flying its colours for Holland's team, Ons Oranje. (H)
... too see them jheatly and well. The are both nearly 70.What a blessing!
We then went to Cousin Erwin's home. What an amazing bond we have. We are extremely thankful for our time with them. We have such similar thinking and beliefs. Totally amazing. Thanks you guys and I am sorry that it was all over so ...
