    ... I assure you they weren't! The day after the visit to Powys Castle in Welshpool, we happened to get a ride on a canal barge in the canal which was so unexpected and unplanned.     ... The line to buy tickets was over a mile long, wrapped around many blocks and this was at 9 am. Fortunately for us, we had bought tickets in advance.
