      When I was in Amsterdam last September I bought a museums pass, valid for one year. It had already paid for itself by the end of that trip, and on this trip I got even more benefit from it. I visited a total of 16 venues on the two visits. Just wandering the streets is enjoyable, admiring the narrow buildings and their gable stones and the canals that encircle the old centre. I took lots of photos of gable stones and fašades.
