    ... There are also lots of other plants and trees as well. There's a hot house with just stunning orchids. There's even a blue orchid. I didn't know you could get blue flowers.     ... suddenly be zooted off on another highway going in totally the wrong direction!) and the drive through Death Valley wasn't too comfortable (we stupidly drove through at the hottest time of the day) but for the rest the driving and the distances were easy to cover. On reflection we were pleased that we had decided to hire a car instead of a camper van as we were much more flexible with the car, particularly in the big cities.

    ... could actually slide the carpet from one part of the room to the other. I feel that I am now confused as to whether there is carpet here, or it is just one large rug that is the same shape as the room, not glued down onto the floor.
