... buy some souvenirs and make our way to Gate H1 where our Airbus A319 was being prepared for our flight to London Gatwick. 50 minutes flying time later we were touching down at London Gatwick, and deposited outer remaining Euros in the Easyjet UNICEF charity bag on disembarking. Not the greatest arrival experience at Gatwick though, around 45 minutes waiting in the non-EU passport line, the EU line was even longer! ...

... down in the aisle, it's by far the best place to sleep, so much leg room.

Just half an hour outside Amsterdam we stop for a little cheese and clogs demonstration. This particular farm is run by an eccentric bunch. The cheese demonstration is first. We spent an hour at the zoo which had beautiful grounds and saw lots of animals of course. Once we left the zoo we went back in search of the Dutch resistance museum, we found it but only after walking around the block and finding it back across ...

When I arrived at Anne Frank house, it was again easy to find. One thing about Amsterdam is how compact the city is and how easily I've been able to find everything. Even though it was late afternoon, there was already a queue of about 45 minutes wait before you could buy tickets. They had thoughtfully provided wifi access though to prevent boredom.

I first went to Anne Frank house back in 1996 and you were free to take photos inside. Times have changed now and ...
