A quick drive from Cologne and we reached Voorschoten, Netherlands where we lived for 10 years. We are staying with our old neighbours and now friends Monica and Jan who live opposite our old house.

I enjoyed a nice conversation with the attendant at the museum cafeteria. I was asking him how to say a few phrases in Dutch and he complimented me on my willingness to try. The Dutch are proud at how tricky their language is for those that speak ...

... cruising along again. Tally writing... We made so much ground that the next morning we arrived in Holland a day early, where to spend the day? Amsterdam of course, we found a cool hippy campsite for our final night. just on the edge of the city, camp zeeburg. Caught the tram and trundled off to a flea market we had heard about! We bought a gorgeous wall rug and a replacement wooden ring for the one the I lost at skaville festival! Happy bunny finding a ...
