    ... made good time through Chattanooga, which is one of the reasons we left so early. Surprisingly, Knoxville wasn't bad either. We even stopped so the girls could enjoy a sit down breakfast while Dave took care of a last minute conference call for work. Now, it should be smooth sailing right up until we hit rush hour in DC. Ugh. Already dreading it...

    ... We'll have help getting luggage on the train in DC, but we'll only manage what we can carry on our backs in Munich. Of course, being an engineer means I can approach this problem in only one way: lists, spreadsheets, and charts!     ... seems like it certainly was the place for things to go wrong.

    Our other hero, Chuck at Mainly Foreign Parts had the new engine waiting for us when we arrived first thing in the morning and even delivered it free of charge to the workshop. While Dad and Hughie worked on installing the new engine I spend the day exploring Tennessee Aquarium and caught a movie.

    The start of our trip.

    Departure from Huntsville toward Chicago. Got an all day lay over in Chicago because there is only one flght to Chicago from Huntsville.
    All went well other than the American Airlines agent had to physically complete the baggage connection between Paris and Malta. This meant that he had to hand write the ultimate destination. I don' think he has ever heard of Malta.

    ... died on landing. Jase's rocket, the Aussie Oi'Oi'Oi, and Jordan's rocket, the Walrus 1, both had successful but short missions. Just like some other things in my life.
